En 2020, après leur défaite, les occupants arméniens ont coupé des milliers d’arbres dans la région de Kalbajar et les ont amenés en Arménie.

#Ecocide is criminalized human activity that violates the principles of environmental justice by damaging or destroying ecosystems.
Armenian forces gave 10 hours to the Kalbajar inhabitants to leave or die in 1992 and looted all the belongings of Azerbaijanis while fleeing .
In 2020 After their defeat, the Armenians occupiers, were given 15 days to leave and take all their belongings. Recently when i entered Kalbajar, I was devastated to tears, discovering how thousands of trees were cut, and brought to Armenia. I was amazed to see, my assistant Anar, putting his hand for longtime on one of the trees praying with tear in his eyes, the same way that do here when visiting the cemeteries, over the grave of beloved ones. there were even cases that they have just cut the trees by pure vandalism without even taking back them.
I met a refugee who have returned after 28 years, in Kalbajar, when he saw the tragic scene of all these trees , almost with tear in his eyes recite an old Azerbaijani saying :
"Agaj Kassan, Bash Kassar" meaning " Who that cut the trees, will cut the heads too" and then added, They did the same in Khojaly to the innocent people.

Les forces arméniennes donnèrent 10 heures aux Azerbaïdjanais pour quitter Kalbajar ou mourir après la prise de la ville en 1992 et pillèrent leurs biens.
Après leur défaite en 2020, les occupants arméniens se virent accorder 15 jours pour quitter la région en prenant leurs biens.

Un réfugiés m’a dit : "Agaj Kassan, Bash Kassar" ce qui veut dire "Ceux qui coupent des arbres coupent des têtes" ajoutant "ils ont fait la même chose à des innocents à Khojaly"

قتل عام طبيعت، یا تخریب اکوسیستم ها به دست انسان جرم شناخته شده ای است که اصول عدالت زیست محیطی را نقض می کند.
در سال ۲۰۲۰ پس از شکست ، به ارمنی ها ۱۵ روز فرصت داده شد تا خانه های غصبی را بازگردانند و تمام وسایل خود را ببرند. اخیراً وقتی که وارد کلبجر شدم ، با دیدن هزاران درخت تنومند قطع شده بی اختیار اشک در چشمانم جاری شد . .
اکثر آنها درختان میوه بودند که همگی را قطع کرده و به ارمنستان برده بودند ,
در آن لحظه همچون مزار انسانی, دیدم که همکارم, آنار دستش را به روی تنه بریده شده درخت تنومندی گذا شته و اشک میریزد.
فقط به قصد آسیبرسانی این درختان را بریده بودند بدون اینکه با خود ببرند.
در کلبجار با پناهنده ای که پس از ۲۸ سال به وطنش بازگشته است ، آشنا شدم ، وقتی صحنه فاجعه بار همه این درختان را دید ، با چشمانی پر از اشک یک ضرب المثل قدیمی آذربایجانی را خواند : " آغاج کسن ,باش کسر "
به معنای "کسی که درختان را قطع می کند ، سرها را نیز خواهد برید" و سپس اضافه کرد ، آنها همین کار را در خوجالی با مردم بی گناه انجام دادند.
